The FA Cup atau Piala FA adalah kompetisi tahunan sepakbola pria di Inggris. Piala FA pertama kali digelar pada musim 1871/1872, yang merupakan kompetisi sepakbola nasional tertua di dunia.
FA Cup punya nama resmi The Football Association Challenge Cup. Nama kompetisi ini diambil dari Federasi Sepakbola Inggris, FA, dan sejak 2015, karena kerja sama dengan sponsor, nama kompetisi menjadi The Emirates FA Cup.
Yang unik dari Piala FA adalah jumlah kesebelasan yang ikut serta. Pasalnya, Piala FA terbuka buat klub di semua divisi di Inggris hingga tingkat ke-10, mulai dari 92 klub profesional di Premier League (Tingkat 1) dan English Football League (Tingkat 2 hingga 4), serta tim non-league dari tingkatan 1 hingga 6 di National League System (Tingkat 5 hingga 10).
Tercatat ada 763 klub berkompetisi di Piala FA pada musim 2011/2012. Kompetisi ini terdiri dari 12 babak, lalu ke semifinal dan final. Tim divisi rendah bermain di babak awal, sementara tim tingkat atas, main di pertengahan ronde.
Babak di Piala FA dibagi dua. Enam babak pertama merupakan babak kualifikasi (Qualifying Competition). Delapan babak kedua merupakan babak utama (Competition Proper). Sebanyak 32 tim yang lolos dari Qualifying Competition ini akan berhadapan dengan 48 tim profesional dari League One dan League Two. Baru setelah itu, tim dari Divisi Championship dan Premier League masuk di babak kesembilan.
Juara kompetisi langsung lolos ke Europa League dan Community Shield. Saat ini, Arsenal menjadi tim dengan trofi terbanyak lewat 14 gelar. Arsene Wenger menjadi pelatih paling sukses di Piala FA setelah menjuarai tujuh final sebagai manajer Arsenal.
